22 spots are taken
The Atlanta Pride Parade is the biggest event of the Festival. Drawing over 100,000 people along the streets of Midtown Atlanta! Traditionally stepping off from the Atlanta Civic Center MARTA Station at noon on Sunday and continuing down Peachtree Street, the parade will turn right onto 10th Street and end a block from the Charles Allen Gates to Piedmont Park."
This is approximately a 2 mile walk. We should arrive by 10:30 and as stated above step off is at 12. However it may be as late as 1pm before we actually start moving. The parade should be over by 4pm and usually averages 3 hours from step off. There is no easy parking nearby and it is highly recommended that everyone arrive by MARTA via the Civic Center Station. From there follow signs for ROW H.
I am waiting on maps from the pride counsel and will disperse those as soon as I can. These maps will show where we will be meeting as well as drop off spots. The drop off area will be closed at 10:30am. We will be staging on West Peachtree south of Ivan Allen. Roads will start closing at 9am. The drop off area will be closed at 10:30am.
