Traditional Unisex harnesses have 2 major issues for the female body.
1. The sliding chest strap
A harness that is geared towards a female body will instead have an adjustable chest strap that is stationary. The sliding chest strap can end up under the breast or under the neck causing serious laceration or severance to either in case of a fall.
2. The legs straps that wrap up and around the pelvic bone.
A harness that is geared towards a female body will instead have straps that wrap around the thighs. in a male body the pelvic is the strongest bones but in a female body, it is the thigh bone. The pelvic straps can cause breaking or crush injuries from a fall that are hard to recover from.
